Earth Destruction Directive - Episode 7: You've Got To Be Kidding Me

Godzilla and his pals are back -- on the comic book page! IDW has hyped the heck out of their new ongoing Godzilla comic series, Kingdom of Monsters, but does it live up to the promotion? How do the daikaiju translate to the 4 Color World? What's the deal with the two creepy French girls? And is that Obama?! Huh?! All this and more will be revealed!

  1. I pretty much agree with you all the way.

Also you might want to fix the sound, I would like to listen to more of your stuff but the sound keeps cutting in and out

  2. Can you please give some specific time codes where the sound cuts in and out? Because I listen to every file both before and after I upload it after the whole Podomatic fiasco and I don't hear any sound glitches. The bit rate is not the best because I am recording with my MP3 player.

  3. well I think saying cutting in and out was a bad choice of words, it's that weird echoing sound. I don't know the word, that's why I said cutting in and out.

  4. Alright. That may be a result of my using the MP3 player. I have tried to do some noise cancelling and whatnot but with no luck. I'm an amateur when it comes to this stuff.

Unfortunately, right now that is my best option for the show. But I will continue to try to improve the audio quality.

Thanks for the feedback and glad to hear we are of the same opinion regarding KoM!

  5. Just listened to the episode - it's 'SHEER'. ;)

I have to agree with you on both Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters and Godzilla: Gangsters & Goliaths.

What Powell was thinking when he wrote G:KoM I don't know, especially considering the outstanding quality of his The Goon series and the fact that he is genuinely a true G-Fan. This is the first American comic that has secured the rights to multiple Toho monsters beyond Godzilla himself so it's very disappointing to see that kind of potential squandered the way it has been thus far in G:KoM.
